Windows Live Favourites – use it for your own website

Got this information through work. Windows Live Favourites lets you add a website directly to your own online favourites by a one-click command. The information’s available from here (click Add Bookmarklet) of which you can right click the link or save it as a Quick Link in your Internet Explorer browser, and whenever you see something you like, simply click on it. However… why not do this with your website?
Right click this image (image dimensions 237×49, non-official logo) – and save to your drive. Then upload this image to your own server and position on your website. Link the image to the following address, whilst changing the appropriate bits:
https://favorites.live.com/quickadd.aspx?url=http://your-url/&title=title-of-website
Make sure that you put a target=”_blank” on the hyperlink to make sure that it opens up the Save Favourite in a new window so they keep your site in view.
Please note: the above image is not an official image, and please make sure you download and upload the image to your own server. If we see anyone hotlinking to this image (and trust me, we can tell), we’ll remove the image. It’s so we can save our bandwidth a bit 🙂

[…] I smite at thee with your bandwidth and image stealing! This is the original entry for the “Add to Live Favourites” button, and it states very clearly at the end of it not to steal but to upload to your own server! […]
