Vector Glass *definately* not coming…

July 7th, 2006 by Zack Whittaker

So on the 3rd June, I wrote an entry here regarding Vector Glass and how it wasn’t going to appear in Vista. Well, I was right all along and where’s the credit? Not here of course…. nope, because this little small-town blog and this little small-town poster get’s nothing does he.

Check out Kam VedBrat’s blog which confirms this (this post here) and also AeroXP which gets all the credit.
Now yeh I’ll admit, I’m jealous and quite niffed at the fact that nothing came back here seeing as I’m the one
who considered the fact that Vector Glass couldn’t really be put into Vista because of the fact that hardly
anyone’s got a computer that fast yet…. but still.. RAWR 🙁

Well, this was what I had been saying the whole time — we don’t (to my knowladge) have some super cool build with glass — the glass is what it is, and it’s still under development for perf / general tweaks, but i believe the spec is as it’s published under

I know rumors were still flying around near that date, but we’ve none for a few months that Vector Glass/Aero Diamond isnt coming…

ROFL… We’ll see guys. I’m sick of arguing about this so, I’ll just let it be until it happens.
