Send a smile/frown to the 2007 Office Beta team

That’s right – a revolutionary new way to send feedback to the Office teams regarding the new Beta 2 of the 2007 Office System. Not many people actually like writing bugs because they can be time consuming and difficult to get your head round a lot of the time, so they’ve come up with this seperate tool which sits in your taskbar next to your clock with two icons – a green smile and a red frown.
Simply when you’re using an Office Beta 2 application and your happy with a feature or think “oooh I didn’t know I could do this before” and you’re having a good experience, double click the green smile to send a quick note to the Office team along with an optional screenshot of what your screen sees, and send away. It even saves it as a JPG so that it uses up little bandwidth.
However, when you’re using an Office Beta 2 application and you are dissatisified with it, or it’s crashed or you can’t find something – feel free to send them some feedback about it along with a note and an optional screenshot by double clicking on the red frown icon. Again, saves the screenshot as a JPG so it’s much smaller to send across.
