The first (not quite) podcast

April 11th, 2006 by Zack Whittaker

We’re well on the way for podcasting – enabling you to listen to MP3’s whilst you’re on the move of us bloggers here interviewing people and giving general techno-babble. You can access the page to the podcasts to the right at the top of the page (also available here) and download them for free of charge.

The first podcast (after the preliminary one which I recorded earlier on) will be available soon, but firstly we need your help! We’ll hopefully be interviewing over VoIP, Wendy Stidmon, Program Manager on the Windows Vista Beta Team at Microsoft but we need your questions!

Feel free to leave your name and question as a comment, and we’ll select the best ones possible and ask her during the interview. Remember, she’s sworn to secrecy for a lot of stuff, so some things we can’t ask but be creative and submit away!

I have two questions, but there kinda dumb…….

“Ive been hearing that there is going to be a pod cast recorder of some sort in Vista Ultimate, is this true? If so can we expect it in the final release of Vista or in a CTP?”

“Is the Luna theme thats in Windows XP going to be included with Windows Vista?”

  2. Zack Whittaker Says:

Thanks! We’ll take those questions into account – they seem to be pretty good! 🙂

  3. Patrick S Says:

  6. Patrick S Says:

  7. Zack Whittaker Says:

LOL – they’re London’ers 🙂 I live in the middle of the forest in Nottinghamshire – right in the middle of England. If you’ve ever heard of Robin Hood or the Major Oak – that’s my village 😛

  8. Patrick Elliott [MVP] Says:

My spanish professor is actually half Scottish half Argentine, when I mentioned where you were from to him Zack he said the exact same thing about Robin Hood. Does the forest look like it is usually described in the stories? 😛 I’ll record an introduction podcast myself, I have a mid-atlantic American voice. (Go figure)
