Windows Live Clipboard – Wiring the web

April 5th, 2006 by Zack Whittaker

Ray Ozzie had a dream – he wanted a way to transport data from one website to another, for transferring calendar events for example. He wanted to make it so instead of having to type it all in or saving it from the old site then uploading it, he wanted a one-button click to do this for him. It’s gonna be difficult, but their working on it!

They don’t have a subdomain yet on Windows Live (we’d presume http://clipboard.live.com) but there does seem to be an unofficial website however. Check it out here: Windows Live Clipboard

It’s not a Microsoft hosted site, as WHOIS came up with this:
Name Server: NS1.EASYDNS.COM
Name Server: NS2.EASYDNS.COM
Name Server: REMOTE1.EASYDNS.COM
Name Server: REMOTE2.EASYDNS.COM
Name Server: REMOTE3.EASYDNS.COM
Name Server: NS6.EASYDNS.NET
