Windows Live Messenger: Public Beta or Invitation-Beta?

There’s a lot discussion about whether Windows Live Messenger is still an invitation-beta or a public beta.
On May 20th, Mess.be reported that Windows Live Messenger’s server allowed any Passport enabled emails to sign in (users do not need to get their Passport email registered before they can login). The whole world at that time thought Live Messenger has just went into Public Beta.
Well on May 21th, according to LiveSide and Live Messenger’s Blog, that is just a glitch in the server and they have fixed it. Users will not be able to login if they didn’t register their passport email as a beta tester.
But WAIT! How do you get an invitation? Wait no more, you can now all register instantly from Windows Live Messenger beta sign up page. No need all the hassle of getting us sending you an invitation.
Leave a comment back once you have received your invitation (or if you don’t, leave a comment too and let us know! We will get an invitation sent out to you!)
