MSBLOG Exclusive: Windows Vista 5308 Screenshots

February 23rd, 2006 by Zack Whittaker

Now because I can’t quite work it out how to upload images on here, I’ve but them on VistaBase (a knowledge base for Vista users and new users to Vista) so that everyone can see. As far as I know, these could be the first screenshots available to hit the Internet.

Have a look here: – the link is on the main page above the logo πŸ™‚

Oh, by the way, Paul Thurrott? He got the CTP release dates wrong again. Is anyone surprised?

But those are interesting, They have reverted to the old Start Bar…I might have to update the blog. I love the new Sidebar too BTW.

It seems they have increased ICON sizes to compensate for empty space which I dont like much- it gives the feeling of a computer for the blind. However i suppose its good in some aspects as you can see what the folder contains. I like the control Panel esp the CP welcome screen thingo!
And yea regarding Paul….Nah…Not that suprised at all!

What do you mean “old start bar” ? I haven’t gotten it installed so I don’t quite understand what you’re talking about
