New “Windows Live” infrastructure mockup

If this makes any sense to you, this is a quick diagram I mocked up which should hopefully get you understanding how MSN has evolved into two seperate bits – MSN and Windows Live. Hope this helps a bit! If there’s something on the diagram you don’t quite understand, just leave a comment and I’ll try and explain it the best I can.

I used Visio 2003 for the servers from Microsoft, a lot of the other graphics were either made in Paint (that’s right, MSPaint!!:P) and the others were taken from http://ideas.live.com and other various sources. However, all ended up going back into Paint again… absolutely love it! 😀

Nice diagram 🙂
One question though… How do MSN and Windows Live integrate with eachother? MSN “unfolds” to MSN itself and Windows Live?…

Well, funnily enough, I don’t think they do to be honest. I think the only link I can honestly see, is the gleams appearing from an updated MSN Space in Windows Live Messenger.. that’s honestly all I can see!! 😛 Never mind eh!
