MSN Mail beta goes public… I think

I’ll be honest on this one, I’m not quite sure whether it’s open to the public or whether it’s been expanded to another group of MSN beta testers which ties in with their Passport account. All I can go on really is my experience.
In my MSN Hotmail inbox this morning, I noticed a small green tab above the MSN Hotmail logo asking me whether I wanted to join the beta. So, if you want to join the beta (or at least attempt!), login to your MSN Passport and see if there’s a little green tab there.
Please let me know on the comments if you know any different 🙂

There is a public beta for 200,000 new testers. Signup is @ http://www4.imagine-msn.com/minisites/hotmail/default.aspx
They don’t get access to Connect or Newsgroups though.

Excellent, thanks for the update Chris. Yeh, I think the case is you have to apply at the URL, and you will be automatically accepted – so it’s a public beta but only if you as… I think 🙂
Yeh, Jabez, you’ll notice it abut 24 hours or so after you click the URL above – you can’t miss it! It’s near the top menu buttons on MSN Hotmail 🙂
