Windows OneCare Live test expands

Microsoft have been working on Windows OneCare Live for some time now; an all in one package designed to save the user time and effort by having a security and disk management piece of software all tied into one bundle. So far, it seems pretty good. It has a “TuneUp” wizard with it, so that one click and it scans for viruses, cleans your Temporary Internet Files and History, whilst defragmenting your computer at the same time. With it’s own online virus scanner which constantly checks your system, and a firewall inclusive it’s actually pretty damn good for what it is. Although, no pop-up blocker as yet, no spyware scanner and the firewall is a bit dodgy, however with the pop-up blocker they could just say that “install SP2 and you have no worries”… but hey, maybe they’ll loosen the purse strings and include one anyway π
Anyway, the product team behind Windows OneCare Live have expanded the beta group as they are close to releasing the Beta2 of the product pretty soon. If you want a chance to be part of the beta program, go to Microsoft Beta and use the OneCare BetaID to fill in a nomination survey.

I don’t think Malaysian users will be subscribing to OneCare Live… (Most of them will just stick to NAV
