start.com Released

September 1st, 2005 by Zack Whittaker

Well it appears that finally we’ll be seeing a full (maybe even finished and that’s it) version of start.com. I’ve been watching start.com for some time now and pretty much week by week I’ve been noticing something new about it. I’ve got to say, I love it. Although it’s a Microsoft written site and not 100% “supported” by Microsoft as the disclaimer says at the bottom of the main page, it’s nice to know that Microsoft has a sense of… well, more than a hugely technical side to it.

Previously to view start.com, you had to either put a /3 in front of the URL to access the page, and sometime ago you had to use MSN Search to solve the clues of which in tern then gave the URL away, but right from the very start, start.com has been a breath of fresh air and I love using it.

Check out the start.com blog on MSN Spaces here.
