Well, if Microsoft includes BitLocker into the cheapest Windows Vista, MS won't able to push Business/Ultimate to users. BitLocker is one of the key features of Business/Ultimate and it's more to an Enterprise feature.

Furthermore I don't think normal home users would enable BitLocker on their laptop - only savvy users will.

For savvy people like you and me, TrueCrypt is a good program. But I don't think normal users would even install TrueCrypt.

I find it very hard to understand the logic of Microsoft sometimes. Why put this type of protection only into the most expensive version of the worst OS they have developed (well except for ME) Why would they not want everyone to benefit.
I hate to get on the Linux bandwagon (especially at MSBlog) but it comes with what you need, it is tailored for what the users requires - they just need to know what that is.
Anyway this sounds like a brilliant program. One certain worth a look!
