A caution is that the patch will reinstall during the Microsoft Update process unless the patch is de-selected and marked not to prompt again. Uninstalling the patch alone is not sufficient to keep it off the system as I learned when the problem resurfaced and I noticed the patch had been reinstalled. This worked for me twice.
