c:\windows\inf\setupapi.app that is the log im talking about and the today is calendar is one of the gadgets that writes an error to that log, the gadgets all work fine but some like the today is calendar has some small errors and they write it to that log.

they do work all but what i ment was that most of them generate a problem in that log because something is missing just check the log and you will see.

I have tried “Lights Out!”, “TodayIS” and “Poker(beta), all are working.
I can install them successfully. Are you using Vista Beta 2? Build 5384.4?

I also miss the weather gadget, It is good. but have to depends on the web service provider, otherwise you cannot get your local weather information.

I really miss the “Weather gadget” that was seen in build 5365 if i remember correctly.. anyone know why MS did remove it? Want it back so much…

Just wanted you all to know that some of the gadgets contain small problems such as the today is gadget you can see those errors in the log located at
c:\windows\inf\setupapi.app
